About Danielle

I am a true California girl.  Most of my adult life has been spent in Southern California; however, if you ask me where I am from, I will tell you the Bay!  My life priorities are family, friends, and celebrity gossip.  Don’t judge me, I am a gossip guru!

Truthfully speaking, having a great sense of humor is very important to me.  Laughter is the best medicine, stress reliever, and all around way to pass the time.  I am very excited that Stephen shares my sense of humor…I also love that he makes me laugh!

About Stephen

I am a Southern California transplant but my roots are deep in the South.  I was born and raised in North Carolina with my mom, dad, and two brothers.  We were taught three things growing up- do your homework when you first get home from school, make up your bed everyday, and football makes the world go round.  We are all huge football fans and you can find me on Saturday's and Sunday's cheering for my Florida State Seminoles and crying about my Minnesota Vikings.  In between managing my duties and career at Nestle, I enjoy playing golf and tennis, reading autobiographies, and spending time with my family, friends and loved ones.  Especially the love of my life, Gooch.

I have found no greater joy than having someone who I can lay on the couch with, wearing my too-tight football jersey from high school, watching Family Guy, stuffing my face with Häagen Daz ice cream and Birthday Cake Oreo's, realizing they love me just as much as I love them.  No greater joy...

The Great Debate!?

This is one of our favorite stories to share because there is so much debate over who gets credit for introducing us; was it my older sister, Sabrina, or was it her husband, Daniel?

Stephen was at a fundraiser for work  and was seated at the same table as Sabrina and Daniel.  He sat next to Sabrina, and the two began chatting.  Eventually, Sabrina mentioned to Stephen that I was at home baby-sitting her kiddos and that he should meet me.  Stephen, being the total professional, gave my sister his business card and asked her to pass it along to me.

An excited Sabrina returned home with the news that she had met someone for me.   She handed me Stephen's business card and told me that I needed to call him.  I appreciated my sister's effort, but was not interested.  I handed the card back to her and told her she could keep it...to this day, Stephen tells me I almost threw away my future.

Two weeks pass and Daniel decided to contact Stephen to try and close a business deal, but also to see if we ever connected.  Stephen said no, and asked for my information instead.  After a few emails, phone calls and a coffee date...Stephen was sold, and so was I!

So, we'll leave it up to our friends and family to decide, who gets credit for "us"?
